A Intercontinental Travel Company was established in 1979 and since its inception has been progressing steadily towards excellence with a team of qualified and dedicated professionals. ITC was one of the first local agencies to received IATA accreditation in the year 1980.

ITC was among the first four travel agents in Saudi Arabia selected by IATA to join the Bank Settlement Plan (BSP) in 1995 when it was a pilot scheme.
